Four years ago, Chris Beemer became a Woodbridge High School assistant principal.
As the upcoming school year draws near, he is stepping into the role of Principal at Ronald Wilson Reagan Middle School in Haymarket, according to a release from Prince William County Public Schools (PWCS).
“I am very excited to be the new principal at Ronald Reagan Middle School,” Beemer said in a release. “I look forward to getting to know the students, staff, and community, and I am excited at the opportunity to serve them as principal.”
During his 15 years in education, the new principal has been a history teacher as well as a middle school assistant principal and principal for summer school.
Beemer holds a bachelor’s and masters in history, and a masters in curriculum and instruction from Virginia Tech. He also earned an education specialist degree in administration and supervision through the University of Virginia.
