Those seeking medical attention in Prince William County will have a new facility they can receive treatment from.
Kaiser Permanente is opening a new medical center in Woodbridge.
Set to open in 2021, the five-story building will stand at 13285 Minnieville Road, according to a release from the Prince William County Department of Economic Development (PWCDED).
“It has been a pleasure working with so many different Kaiser Permanente leaders over the past two years to assist in bringing this medical center to the Occoquan District in eastern Prince William County,” Supervisor Ruth Anderson said in a release. “This center is close to public transit and Interstate 95.”
Behavioral health services, a pharmacy and a lab will be housed in the estimated 241,300-square-foot space.
“We are excited to open a new multi-specialty medical center, which will include a broad array of clinical services such as an integrated multidisciplinary cancer care and a comprehensive women and maternal health program,” Kaiser Permanente Regional President Kim Horn said in a release. “Our new medical center will highlight our integrated health system by offering primary care and specialty services in one convenient location.”
This year, three Kaiser Permanente facilities are opening in the Commonwealth.
One of them is the Haymarket Crossroads Medical Center, an estimated 36,400-square-foot building that will be near I-66.
