A local manufacturer is expanding to Innovation Park.
NCS Technologies will be breaking ground on its new headquarters.
Spanning 108,000 square feet, the building will stand at 9601 Discovery Boulevard in Manassas, according to a release from the Prince William County Department of Economic Development (PWCDED).
“The tight integration of our entire business operations under one roof will enhance efficiency, foster creativity and add flexibility, agility, and velocity to our processes,” NCS President An Van Nguyen said in a release. We have experienced a significant expansion of our business in the past couple of years, and we look forward to many more years of growth.”
The county assists advanced manufacturers through infrastructure, zoning, real estate and low-operating costs, according to PWCDED Executive Director Christina Winn.
“We are excited to retain NCS while increasing jobs in the targeted industries of government contracting and information communication technology,” Winn said in a release. “NCS is investing $15.1 million in constructing their new headquarters, and we worked with the company to ensure they were able to purchase the land parcel in Innovation Park to best accommodate their added expansion.”
NCS Technologies was established in Prince William County in 2002. Military branches, federal organizations and members of the intelligence field are among its customers.
By creating a new manufacturing line, the company will be able to increase its capacity.
“NCS Technologies is a hometown success story,” Brentsville District Supervisor Jeanine Lawson said in a release. “I am excited to welcome a leader in computer manufacturing to Innovation Park. The addition of NCS showcases the variety of industries in Innovation Park and elevates the status of the Park as an innovative hub.”
