Northern Virginia residents could wake up to some snow tomorrow morning.
The National Weather Service (NWS) is calling for some snow tonight and tomorrow.
Most of Northern Virginia isn’t expected to receive more than an inch, but that isn’t stopping the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) from planning ahead.
VDOT vehicles are being prepped to treat roads and will be stationed alongside them, according to a release.
Drivers are asked to adjust their trips to avoid traveling in slippery areas and stay up-to-date on forecasts.
VDOT is also recommending that commuters keep their windshield wiper fluid and gas full, and consider teleworking.
