Learning about military history is an option for those looking for something to do while Thanksgiving dinner preparations are underway.
According to a release from the Marine Corps Heritage Foundation, the National Museum of the Marine Corps is going to be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Thanksgiving.
Located at 18900 Jefferson Davis Highway in Triangle, the museum offers an array of exhibits, according to its website.
Visitors may also enjoy showings of “We, The Marines” or “Superpower Dogs” in the Medal of Honor Theater.
The restaurants and gift shop will be open, as well.
