There’s ‘Much Ado About Art’ in Manassas for the art festival on May 5-7.
According to a release, the multi-day art show kicks off on May 5 with a Gallery Walk from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. where “artists will be juried to receive a place inside one of our 20+ downtown merchants for the evening.”
From there, on May 6 the city will also be hosting Manassas Reads from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., which is a “this literary art segment will be providing free books for all,” stated a release.
There will also be a ticketed painting class at Harris Pavilion from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. From 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on May the streets in the Downtown area will be closed, as local merchants feature top artists, followed by a free concerted at Harris Pavilion from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
May 7 is community day, and there will be “performances from local dance troops, choirs, and more,” stated a release.
