Over the weekend, the Montclair Community Library celebrated their one year anniversary in Dumfries.
The celebration was held on site at 5049 Waterway Drive on February 4.
There was live music, face painting, crafts, a photo booth, raffle, a time capsule dedication – even birthday cake!
“There are wonderful resources [at the library] for both the community and all of our children,” said Potomac Supervisor Maureen Caddigan.
There were several items in the time capsule, including flyers from the library’s first year of events, craft items, and other knickknacks to commemorate the library.
