Everyone should get a chance to shine. That’s the goal of the Miss Ability Pageant.
The pageant seeks to showcase the talents and beauty of young women in the community with disabilities.
The pageant will be on April 9 at 6:30 p.m. at Osbourn Park High School in Manassas.
Didlake, an organization based in Manassas that provides services and job opportunities for individuals with disabilities, will be hosting the pageant, according to a release.
“This experience is intended to help the contestants gain self-confidence, build new friendships, and learn the importance of goal setting,” stated a release.
All students with a disability between the ages of 10 and 23 that live in Prince William, Manassas, and Manassas Park are eligible to participate, according to a release.
