Micron Technology, among the largest memory companies in the world, is hosting an open house.
The open house is in conjunction with Northern Virginia Community College (NOVA) according to a release by Prince William County Public Schools (PWCS).
The event is being held on Wednesday 5:30 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. at Micron Technology Inc, 9600 Godwin Drive Manassas.
This event is open to high school juniors and seniors in the Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs, such as Automotive and Engineering Technology.
Students will have the opportunity to apply for paid full time technician internships, that begin in fall 2019 and last nine months.
Micron produces memory that are found in everyday electronic devices, computers, and automobiles. Last year, Micron annouced a $3 billion expansion investment.
Furthermore, students will have the chance to tour the facility, learn about technician careers, and meet recruiters and hiring managers at the open house.
Attendees are asked to register for the event.
