Celebrate Family Day and the birth of the United States Marine Corps in Triangle on November 12.
According to a release, the free event is being held at the National Museum of the Marine Corps and Heritage Center at 18900 Jefferson Davis Highway from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
During the event, there will be displays about the birth of the Marine Corps in 1775 in Philadelphia, according to a release.
“This all-day event will include living history demonstrations and hands-on activities and crafts. Brownie Girl Scouts can earn the Celebrating Community badge,” stated a release.
