Manassas City Public Schools (MCPS) is on the hunt for a new superintendent.
The current superintendent, Catherine Magouyrk, recently announced her retirement, which is effective June 30, 2018.
“Hiring a new superintendent is the biggest task a school board will face and we want to make sure that the public has a voice in this process. We hope that parents, staff and residents will take time to fill out the survey or attend the scheduled public hearing,” stated Manassas School Board Chairman Tim Demeria in a release.
