A section of a Manassas Park road may be getting a new name.
Officials are accepting feedback on the possible renaming of Manassas Drive from Mathis Avenue to Signal View Drive.
The city is considering the name change, according to its website, because it would decrease confusion about Manassas Park being Manassas.
If the name of the road is changed, no residents would need to update their address.
Community members may provide input through a survey. Participants are asked if they are in favor of renaming the section.
The Manassas Drive name change presentation is available online. The discussion can be viewed on the city’s YouTube channel.
