It’s Business Appreciation Month in Manassas.
The Manassas City Council proclaimed May as Business Appreciation Month to recognize “the important contributions that the business community makes to the City of Manassas, through the jobs they create, the taxes they pay, and their efforts in improving the community they serve,” stated a release.
“The City of Manassas is grateful for its active and engaged business owners who made the decision to locate in our city. They contribute to strengthening our local economy and making the City of Manassas a great place to live, work, and conduct business,” stated City Manager William Patrick Pate in a release.
Currently there are 1,446 businesses within the city’s boundaries, according to a release.
