Local Manassas artist John Hartt will have his work on display at Manassas City Hall.
According to a release, Hartt’s work will be on display from September 1 to October 31.
“Hartt is a Manassas artist who is known for his colorful and out of the ordinary oil paintings. His body of work, A Peculiar Perspective, will make you make you smile, laugh, scratch your head in bewilderment or just throw you off balance little. An artist’s reception will be held on Sept. 1 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Manassas City Hall, 9027 Center Street in Historic Manassas,” stated a release.
Hartt is a member of the Workhouse Arts Center in Lorton.
The work is free and open for viewing to the public Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Each month, the City of Manassas features an artist’s work at City Hall.
