Business leaders met in Prince William to learn more about what the Manassas Regional Airport has to offer.
The economic development luncheon was organized by the Prince William Chamber of Commerce.
During the event, representatives from the businesses located in part at the Manassas Regional Airport spoke including Airport Director Juan Rivera, Aurora Flight Sciences Vice President of Business Operations Kristine Miller, Optical Air Data Systems’ Co-Founder and President Philip Rogers, Aerosolutions Managing Partner Bolling DeSouza, Chantilly Air’s Marketing and Client Relations Manager Caleb Stitely, Skyway Air Taxi’s President Charles Schefer, and Capital Aviation’s President Pat Colgan.
The speakers outlined the background of their companies, and what they have to offer to the community.
“It was founded by John Langford in 1989, where he started it in Alexandria, Virginia in a garage,” said Miller of Aurora Flight Sciences’ beginnings.
The companies offer a variety of services including private airline rentals, airplane maintenance and repair, and environmental and technical solutions.
