If you’ve driven down Route 1 near the Occoquan Harbor Marina, you’ve probably seen progress in the Rivergate development.
Slated to be a “luxury riverfront community”, IDI Group Companies – the developer for the project – is 50% complete with the first building on the site, according to Prince William County Director of Development Services Wade Hugh.
The development will have three buildings, according to Hugh.
“There is a large amount of earth work that needs to be completed before buildings 2 & 3 can commence construction,” stated Hugh in an email.
The projected completion date for the project is 2018.
