Vaccines, Heartworm tests and nail trimming are a few services pets can soon receive.
A Low Cost Vaccine Clinic is taking place in Dumfries on September 14.
The Humane Society of Northern Virginia (HSNV) is working with Heart to Heat Mobile Pet Care, LLC for the event.

It’s running from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the HSNV, 17983 Dumfries Shopping Plaza.
Some tests are going to be available for dogs and cats.
Community members may request a Basic Heartworm Test that costs $10 or the 4Dx Heartworm Test, which will be $25. Ear cytology can also be performed for $25 and includes ear cleaning.
Fecal exams are provided for $50 each.
Pets may receive various vaccines.
The 1 year Rabies, 1 year Distemper, and Bordetella cost $15 per shot. Meanwhile, the 3 year Rabies and 3 year Distemper are $20 each.
Immunizations for Canine Influenza, Leptospirosis and Lyme Disease are set at $35.
The Low Cost Vaccine Clinic is offering other services, as well.
Nail trims, ear cleaning, and anal gland services are $15 each.
