UPDATE FROM VDOT:
Please note that due to inclement weather earlier this week, the pipe replacement on Logmill Road has been postponed until further notice. The road has reopened to traffic.
This week, parts of Logmill Road out near Catharpin will be closed, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT).
The section of the road between Route 234 and Shelter Lane will be closed to through traffic as VDOT crews work on a stormwater pipe replacement.
The closure will be in effect through 3:30 p.m. on September 1, according to VDOT.
“Residents within the closure area, emergency vehicles and school buses will have access to the closed portion of Logmill Road, but will not be able to go beyond the point of pipe replacement in either direction,” stated VDOT.
VDOT crews will be detouring traffic via Route 234.
