On December 12, volunteers will be honoring military veterans as part of the Wreaths Across America initiative.
The volunteers will be honoring the veterans by laying thousands of wreaths in front of headstones at the Arlington and Quantico cemeteries in our area, and in other cemeteries around the country, according to a release.
As part of this memorial the Manassas Lioness Lions will be doing their own ceremony at the Manassas Cemetery on Center Street in Manassas at noon, according to a release.
According to a release, Cub Scout units, the American Legion Riders, and the United Daughters of the Confederacy will be attending the ceremony to lay wreaths at the Manassas Cemetery.
