Local photographer Christine Grubbs has her work on display at City Hall in Manassas.
According to a release, her work will be on display through August 31 and is open to the public for viewing Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
“History is the driving force behind much of my work. It is important for me to know the background of a scene or object in order to tell the story of the image I am creating and make it come alive,” stated Grubbs in a release.
Grubbs’ work depicts city scenes, as well as stills from nature in frames and on canvass.
City Hall rotates art exhibits from different artists each month.
