This week the Prince William County Department of Fire & Rescue, the Lake Jackson Volunteer Fire Department, and the City of Manassas Fire and Rescue Department will be training in a realistic environment.
The training began over the weekend and will run throughout the next week, where firefighters will be training using structures on South Grant Avenue in Manassas.
“Several structures have been made available by Stanley Martin Homes, with several more projected over the next couple of months. Fire Department units will be using synthetic smoke to create a realistic training environment for firefighters to practice search, rescue, ventilation, and hose line operations,” stated a release.
