If you’re a lover of the arts, then there are two art exhibits you’ve got to check out.
Through April 29, the Center for the Arts in Manassas is hosting their ‘Feed the Arts’ exhibit, according to a release.
The exhibit will feature oil paintings, pastels, watercolors, and photography. The visual arts display will be in the Caton Merchant Family gallery at the Center for the Arts, and is available for viewing between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. on weekdays, and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays, stated a release.
Another art exhibit worth checking out is the ‘Reflections of Spirit’ exhibit at the Workhouse Arts Center in Lorton, featuring the work of Kathy Strauss, according to a release.
The exhibit will be opening on April 3, and continuing through May 1, stated a release.
“In her show, Reflections of Spirit, Kathy explores the personal meaning of Spirit though her photography,” stated a release.
“Spirit is not just a religious connotation, it could be the energy of a person or the feeling of a particular scene. I’m a visual person and always see the bigger picture. Through my photography I explore shape, pattern, and emotion. My sense of wonder and belief of knowing that we are all connected – my aim is to share that from the hand of man – to the simplicity of nature, the reflection of Spirit lies in each of us and our surroundings,” stated Kathy Strauss in a release.
