Reading material isn’t the only item that is being found at a Little Free Library.
Staff members from Mary Williams Elementary School in Dumfries stocked the space with supplies for those in need.
Additional necessities, including food and diapers, have also been added by the public, according to a release from Prince William County Public Schools (PWCS).
The items are available to families who might not be receiving a paycheck because of the Coronavirus.
“I think the Little Free Library gives families a sense of comfort knowing that our school is still there to support them,” School Counselor Nicole Myers said in a release. “The fact that the library keeps getting filled day after day is so encouraging. I hope students learn the value in looking out for the needs of others and paying it forward when they are able.”
