LVA-PW is a non-profit in Dale City that was established 28 years ago. It offers tutoring and classes on various topics, including civics and citizenship as well as GED preparation, according to a release from LVA-PW.
Since it was founded in 1993, DGLF has provided more than $146 million to groups that focus on literacy.
The grant is being used for the English as a Second Language (ESL) and Job Readiness for New Immigrants programs.
