The Lidl in Manassas opened its doors this morning to much fanfare.
Customers lined up around the location at 11782 Sudley Manor Drive well in advance of the store’s 8 a.m. ribbon cutting, waiting to take a look at the German grocery chain’s offerings.
According to Lidl, the location is the 12th store they’ve opened in Virginia this year.
One confirmed location is at Neabsco Commons Place, across from Stonebridge at Potomac Town Center and near the Northern Virginia Community College’s Woodbridge campus.
It is unclear when the Woodbridge location and other Prince William locations will be open to the public.
According to Lidl, they operate 10,000 stores in 27 countries.
