Did you know that on May 21, it’s National ‘Kids to Park’ Day?
Leesylvania State Park in Woodbridge is taking part in the fun, and is inviting families to bring their children for an afternoon of fun.
The events will take place from 11 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. at the park at 2001 Daniel K. Ludwig Drive, according to a release.

Look for pond animals with a ranger during Pond Play, talk trash with the ranger for picking up your trash, and check out what type of animal tracks are in the park and then travel back in time to see who lived here.
Pond Play (at Pond): 11:00 a.m. – 11:45 a.m.
Picking up your Trash (at Pond): 11:45 a.m.
Feathers, Footprints, and Furs. OH MY! (on beach by shelter #3): 1:00 p.m. – 1:45 p.m.
Time Traveler (at Visitor Center): 3:00 p.m. – 3:45 p.m.
