The Prince William Rowing Club is hosting free ‘Learn to Row’ events in Lake Ridge.
The group, which is a non-profit athletic organization, has members from Woodbridge, Dale City, and Manassas. The club meets at the Lake Ridge Park & Marina at the Oxford Boathouse at 12380 Cotton Mill Drive.
The events will be held on April 10, April 24, and May 1 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. During the lesson, members will be teaching the basic technique of rowing, the basic rowing stroke, and rowing terms. They will also be giving tours of the boathouse, and people will be able to try out one of the club’s boats.
