The first annual Woodbridge Latino Festival was held at the B-Thrifty parking lot off of Route 1 over the weekend.
According to a release, there were several booths, and activities that represented the county’s diverse culture. Congressman Rob Wittman was also in attendance, and gave remarks to the audience in Spanish, according to a release.
“This will be an annual event,” stated Pastor Jose Andres Ruiz in a release.
The Manassas Latino Festival is scheduled for September 25 at the Harris Pavilion in Manassas, and the next Woodbridge Latino Festival will take place in 2017, according to a release.
