Lake Ridge, VA – An annual food drive is returning to Lake Ridge.
On November 23, members of Lake Ridge Rotary Club will be collecting donations for its “Done in a Day” project.
The event runs from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Safeway at Tackett’s Mill, 2205 Old Bridge Road.
Some of the accepted items include nonperishable food and toiletries.
Done in a Day donations are going toward the Lake Ridge Fellowship House and Action in Community Through Service (ACTS) in Dumfries.
This food drive is one of many ways Lake Ridge Rotary Club supports the local community.
The club meets at 7:30 a.m. on Wednesdays. More information can be found on its website.
