KO Distilling is celebrating its one-year anniversary in the distilling business on September 17.
According to a release, KO Distilling will be hosting an anniversary Open House event at their location at 10381 Central Park Drive in Manassas from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.
The distillery was opened in 2015 by two long-time friends Bill Karlson and John O’Mara, according to a release.
“Our celebration will feature distillery tours and spirit tastings, local craft beer garden, food, live music, lawn games, children’s activities, door prizes and giveaways,” stated a release.
KO Distilling makes and sells clear spirits, including their three Battle Standard 142 Gins – Navy Strength, Standard Strength, and Barrel Finished – as well as a Virginia Moon White Whiskey, according to a release.
“KO also produces small batch bourbon, rye whiskey and wheat whiskey, all of which is aging in new charred American Oak barrels at KO’s facility,” stated a release.
This year KO Distilling will be releasing their first brown spirit – an aged wheat whiskey called Bare Knuckle American Wheat Whiskey, according to a release.
