Tonight is the ‘10K in an Hour and a Half’ networking fundraiser for the Prince William County Boys & Girls Clubs in Woodbridge.
The goal of the event is to bring 100 people with 100 business cards each, as well as a $100 check per person, to raise the $10,000 for the organization.
And as part of their commitment to the local community the Kiwanis Club of Woodbridge has not only donated $500 to go toward food for the event, but they announced today that they would be making a $1,000 donation to the event to benefit the clubs.
“We’re happy to support a great organization that helps kids throughout our whole community by donating to the Prince William County Boys & Girls Clubs,” said Kiwanis member Mitchell Colston.
The event will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Hilton Garden Inn at 2500 Neabsco Common Place in Woodbridge.
All of the proceeds generated from the fundraiser will go directly to the Prince William-based Boys & Girls Clubs and the children they serve.
