Residents and volunteers are taking out the trash.
Keep Prince William Beautiful (KPWB) is hosting its first community litter cleanup of the year in the Fuller Heights Community of Triangle.
Scheduled for February 13, the event begins at 10 a.m. at Fuller Heights Park, 18511 Old Triangle Road.
Participants should wear close-toed shoes, pants, long sleeves and masks and bring a water bottle.
Litter pickers, garbage bags, safety vests, gloves and hand sanitizer are being provided.
To learn more or sign up for the litter cleanup, visit the KPWB website or email Environmental Programs Manager Sean Morrow at smorrow@kpwb.org.
Offered monthly, the cleanups are one way KPWB seeks to meet its goal of having communities that are free of litter.
