Traffic accidents happen.
When they do, many agencies come together to clear the roads.
Members of the public have a chance to learn more about the organizations at an Incident Management Open House.
Scheduled for October 26, the annual program is occurring from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will host the event at its Northern Virginia District Office, 4975 Alliance Drive in Fairfax.
Demonstrations on various topics, including K-9 skills and electricity lines, can be seen.
The Manassas Park City Police Department, Northern Virginia Electric Cooperative (NOVEC), the Prince William County Department of Fire and Rescue (PWCDFR) and the Prince William County Police Department (PWCPD) are among the organizations that are taking part.
