New buildings are coming to I-66 Business Park in Manassas.
Work has begun on two new warehouses.
I-66 Business Park houses several companies, including Able Moving & Storage and Mu-Del Electronics.
Merritt Construction Services is building the facilities, which will stand at the Balls Ford Road-Groveton Road intersection.
They are expected to be about 137,350 square feet and 97,200 square feet, according to a release from Merritt Companies, a commercial real-estate business.
“This Class A industrial development is designed to fill a void in the market, accommodate bulk and mid-sized storage users, and provide flexibility for growing businesses,” Shaelyn Mullaney from Merritt Companies’ leasing team said in a release. “The park is ideal for companies seeking prominent visibility along I-66 and spacious truck courts with ample parking.”
The new facilities will offer dock and drive-in loading, and 140- and 180-foot truck courts.
Officials believe delivery will begin in December 2019.
