The Hylton Performing Arts Center is celebrating veterans and the arts from November 9 to 11 in Manassas.
According to a release, there will be several activities and performances, kicking off on November 9 at 8 p.m. at Merchant Hall, where a free concert will be held by the U.S. Army Band “Pershing’s Own”.
On November 10 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., there will be a gallery reception for an exhibit titled ‘The Arts and the Military: Moving through Memories of Service and Conflict’, according to a release.
For the final day of festivities on November 11, there will be a celebration from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. “with free interactive activities and arts experiences that explore stories of military life, offer Veteran resource information, and build camaraderie through performance and visual art,” stated a release.
