Runners and walkers will be filling up the Prince William Forest Park trails on September 21.
The “Pets 4 Life” 5K is returning for its second year.

Held by the Humane Society of Northern Virginia (HSNV), the rain or shine race starts at 10 a.m. Check-in is at 9 a.m.
Prince William Forest Park stands at 18170 Park Entrance Road in Triangle.
Registration costs $40. The first 50 participants to sign up will receive a goodie bag.

The proceeds are going toward HSNV, an animal rescue service in Dumfries that’s powered by Advocates for Abused and Abandoned Pets (A3P).
