Human and civil rights are moving forward, due to the actions of community members, organizations and a business.
Universal Human Rights Day is being recognized by the Prince William County Human Rights Commission.
Set for January 16, the virtual event begins at 10 a.m., according to an article on the county’s website.
It’s theme, “Recover Better – Stand Up for Human Rights,” is centered on the importance of human rights as communities recover from COVID-19.
Recipients of the 2020 Human Rights Awards will be honored.

- Lisa Ullrich
- Masks for Humanity
- MurLarkey Distilled Spirits
- Top Ladies of Distinction, Inc. — Dale City-Prince William County Chapter
