Organizations and county residents are supporting equality.
The Prince William Human Rights Commission will honor their endeavors.
Until December 2, the commission is accepting nominations for the Human Rights Awards, according to a release from Prince William County.
To be considered, nominees must have promoted equality through initiatives that impacted the public.
Those who would like to submit a nomination may download the form from the Prince William County website.
They can be emailed to pwhrc@pwcgov.org, or brought or mailed to 15941 Donald Curtis Drive, Suite 125, Woodbridge, VA 22191.
Selected groups and individuals are going to be honored at the Universal Human Rights Day that’s scheduled for January. 18, 2020. The annual event is occurring at the McCoart Administration Building, 1 County Complex Court in Woodbridge.
