Solutions, changes and efforts to support equality will soon get recognized.
Nominations for the Prince William Human Rights Commission’s Human Rights Awards are being accepted until November 30.
The commission seeks to end discrimination and create equal opportunity for members of the community, according to a release from Prince William County. It’s considering county residents, organizations, agencies and businesses that help advance human rights for the awards.
Nominators must complete the form that’s on the county’s website, and email it to pwhrc@pwcgov.org or mail it to: Human Rights Office at 15941 Donald Curtis Drive, Suite 125, Woodbridge, VA 22191.
Awardees will be honored by the Human Rights Office in a virtual Universal Human Rights Day celebration on January 16.
