Taxpayers who need assistance in the coming months might need to adjust their schedule.
Operating hours for the Prince William County Taxpayer Services are changing, starting on March 6.
On Wednesday’s, the counters and call center will be open between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. until August 28, according to a release from the county.
The change in hours is enabling employees to receive customer service and technology training.
“We are committed to providing seamless and high-quality customer service, integrated with the use of technology, and this will allow us the opportunity to provide our employees with the necessary tools to do that,” the county’s Director of Finance Michelle Attreed said in a release.
Services will continue to be available from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday’s, Tuesday’s, Thursday’s and Friday’s.
Resources and tools are also offered on the Taxpayer Portal at all times.
