Always dreamed of owning a horse? Now here’s your chance.
The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is holding a ‘Wild Horse and Burro Adoption Drive’ in Lorton on May 20 and 21 from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The event will be held at the Meadowood Special Recreation Management Area at 10406 Gunston Road.
40 wild horses and burros will be available for adoption. Mustang owners and trainers may be on site to answer questions and provide demonstrations.
Adoption applications will be accepted onsite beginning May 20.
