At Home, a national home décor chain, is opening in Dale City at the former K-Mart location on Dale Boulevard.
The chain is considered a ‘big box’ store, and offers furniture, textiles, home goods, décor, and related items, according to At Home’s website.
The company was started in Texas back in 1979, and now operates 100 locations in 27 states, according to At Home’s website. There is another At Home location on Sudley Road in Manassas.
The average At Home location is more than 120,000 square feet, with more than 50,000 items in stock, according to their website.
At Home is currently hiring, and there is no set date for the store’s opening.
The former K-Mart was a fixture in the community, and operated the location in Dale City for 34 years.
