Get ready for the 70th year of the Greater Manassas Christmas Parade.
The parade, which will be on December 5 at 10 a.m., will begin on Mathis Avenue and continue through Downtown Manassas, according to a release.
Sponsored by Northwest Federal Credit Union and the City of Manassas, the parade will include distinguished parade Grand Marshal Ed Asner, floats, marching bands, performances and more. Santa Claus himself will even be in attendance!

The parade is the largest in Northern Virginia and attracts more than 50,000 residents.
It’s become a family tradition in the region.
This year the parade will feature more than 100 marching units, floats, balloons and more – totaling 2,000 participants in all!
The parade committee is comprised of more than 300 volunteers.
