Looking for a fun way to kick off the holiday season? Then get to the Plaza at Promenade at Virginia Gateway in Gainesville tomorrow.
The free celebration will be taking place from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and is a family friendly event.
Kids will have a chance to visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus, and there will be performances from the Manassas Symphony Orchestra at 5 p.m., 6 p.m., and 7 p.m., according to a release.
There will be horse and carriage rides, which run from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., and cost $3 per ride. All of the proceeds of the rides will benefit the local non-profit Women Giving Back, according to a release.
Women Giving Back will also have volunteers on site, taking toy donations, which will be given to children and teens in need this Christmas, according to a release.
The fireworks display will begin at 7 p.m.
