It was a great day at Rippon Lodge on Saturday during their “Early Days of Prince William County” living history demonstration.
During the event at 15520 Blackburn Road, individuals from historic demonstration groups offered exhibits and displays of Native American culture, colonial life, and Revolutionary War-period military encampments.
“Prince William County’s rich history begins in 1731 when it was founded by the Virginia House of Burgesses,” stated a release, and this event was a chance for the community to reflect on that.
