A Prince William County agency is already getting ready for summer.
The Prince William County Department of Parks, Recreation & Tourism is hosting hiring events in the coming months.
Staff members will be conducting interviews for openings at SplashDown Waterpark in Manassas as well as lifeguard positions at other recreational areas, according to a release.
“Each summer we hire hundreds of talented seasonal staff who ensure visitors have a fun and safe time in our pools and waterparks,” Brent Heavner from the department said in a release.
Free training, flexible hours and various positions will be available.
“Colleges and employers value the skills that our seasonal employees develop while working with us, so our pools and waterparks are an ideal opportunity for individuals seeking their first job,” Heavner said. “We also have seasonal employees who have retired from their first career who enjoy spending their summers helping others enjoy the incredible recreation opportunities available here in Prince William County.”
