Heroic Aleworks has announced that they’ll be closing their doors for good on December 15.
We covered Heroic Aleworks prior to their opening in 2016 – read more about that here.
Located at 14910 Persistence Drive, the brewery was meant to be a gathering place for comic book fans and beer lovers alike to gather for board games and a pint.
The announcement that they would be closing came at the end of last month.
“We are deeply saddened to announce that Heroic Aleworks will be closing on December 15. Thank you all so much for your support over the past year and for sharing this experience with us. But we still have a few weeks left, and you know we’re gonna go out in style, so stay tuned for the announcements. We hope you’ll be able to join us before it’s all done to make some more great memories,” Heroic Aleworks stated on their Facebook page.
According to their staff, while there was demand for their beer, the numbers just weren’t enough to keep the business going.
“Everyone loves the beer and the place, but the numbers just weren’t in our favor,” stated Heroic Aleworks on their Facebook.
On their closing date, they’ll be having a “Party With a Purpose” event.
More on the event, from their Facebook:
This is it, folks, so let’s go out with a bang!
Of course we want to throw a great final party to celebrate with y’all, but we also want to use the occasion to give something back to those less fortunate. We’ll be offering $5 beers (until 9 PM of course), to anyone who brings a warm clothing item – such as coats, sweaters, gloves, hats – or personal hygiene items, all of which will be donated to the homeless on Christmas day.
