The trains are rolling into town for Manassas’ 22nd annual Heritage Railway Festival on June 4.
The festival will be held in Downtown Manassas from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and is free to attend.
According to a release, there will be train memorabilia from vendors, live musical performances from country and blue grass groups, and miniature train displays at the Harris Pavilion.
That’s not all. At the festival there will also be ‘princess train rides’ where families can take a train excursion with two princesses on board from the station in Manassas to Clifton and back, according to a release. The princess trains will be happening at 10 a.m., 11 a.m., 2 p.m., and 3 p.m., and need to be purchased online. Click here for tickets.
More on the event, from a release:
Want a chance to win a tea with the princesses at The Things I Love? Bags of Hershey Kisses will be for sale at several merchant locations with your chance to win a seat at the tea party. Bags containing blue Kisses will get you a seat; all other bags contain silver Kisses. If your bag contains the blue Kisses stop by the Train Depot to fill out a contact form for more information. Bags go on sale Monday May 2nd and will remain on sale until they sell out.
