Help preserve Prince William’s Civil War sites as part of the national Civil War Trust Park Day on April 1.
“Since 1996, the Civil War Trust has sponsored Park Day, an annual hands-on preservation event to help Civil War — and now Revolutionary War — battlefields and historic sites take on maintenance projects large and small. Activities are chosen by each participating site to meet their own particular needs and can range from raking leaves and hauling trash to painting signs and trail buildings,” stated a release.
The cleanup activities will go from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and are free for anyone to participate.
There will be cleanup activities at Manassas National Battlefield Park and Cannon Branch Park & Earthwork Fort, according to a release.
