Another heat advisory has been issued for Prince William today.
The National Weather Service’s (NWS) advisory is in effect from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. The heat index is expected to hit up to 107 degrees with high temperatures in the mid to upper 90s.
“The heat and humidity may cause heat stress during outdoor exertion or extended exposure,” stated NWS.
There is also a call for showers and thunderstorms after 11 a.m., with additional storms before 2 a.m. on Saturday.
The Montclair Library has a broken air conditioning and will be closed through Sunday to keep residents out of the heat, with a scheduled reopening on Monday.
